Spielberg
is great and Tom Hanks is a good colleague. The family is
special. Haley Osment, actor and enfant prodigy, protagonist
at the age of 6 in "Forrest Gump" and of the "Sixth
Sense" at 10 arrives at the festival as a young boy among
other young people. He is "nearly" an adult. He's
now 17, and decided to start shooting "Home of the Giants"
in September after a two years pause. "I took some time
to choose", he said in Giffoni, accompanied by his mother
and the sister Emily, "I didn't want to make mistakes.
I will be a basket-baller, in a story inspired by the director's
life Rusty Gorman". And while he reveales that his favourite
character is Peter Pan , and shows his appreciation for the
Festival, because it is a place where people from different
nationalities meet. The most important moment for him was
the lunch with the other jurors, a moment in which he could
change his ideas with them.
The
jurors who had lunch with him came from Australia, Israel,
South Africa, Germany, and other foreign countries. He ate
and had a lot of fun, discussing several subjects such as
cinema, politics, music, Hollywood and Giffoni.
