of the Giants director Rusty Gorman is now in Los Angeles putting the
finishing touches on the film . In the meantime, Spectre
Entertainment Group, Inc. has been tasked to promote the May 9th screening
of Home of the Giants in Los Angeles . Founded in 1997, internationally
known SPECTRE provides independent marketing services nationwide for a
number of clients, including Rockstar Games, United Artists, Hollywood Records,
MySpace.com, Warner Bros, Sony Music Japan, XLR8R magazine and others. There is
no doubt that the May 9th screening of Home of the Giants will be professionally
promoted, and will surely make an impact on everyone on the exclusive list of
invited guests . In other exciting news , we are standing by to bring you the
finalised list of end crawl credits which we ready to release at any time
, as soon as we get the clearance to ! You may be surprised to see the inclusion

Rusty Gorman said that the film should be completed by 4th May 2007
, in time for the first scheduled screening of the completed film that
will take place on May 9th 2007 at the Zanuck Theater in Los Angeles .

and more great news ! I have been in touch with Home of the Giants director
Rusty Gorman , and I have got information not only on the expected date
of completion of the film , but also the date and venue of the FIRST screening
of the completed film ! I don't have clearance yet to release the exact dates
, but I think everyone will be delighted to know that the next 2 weeks will be
very, very busy but exciting weeks for Rusty Gorman and his post production crew
! My interview with Mr Gorman is tentatively scheduled for the week of May 14th
2007 , after the screening of the completed film for the studio

Kimbrough, Band Director of the PAGE HIGH SCHOOL BAND sent us this
truly beautiful picture of the band, with Haley Joel Osment and Ryan
Merriman . Ed writes : Members
of the Page High School Band, from Greensboro, North Carolina participated
in Home of the Giants as the pep band for the Giants and the Muncie Red
Devils. About forty students from the Page High School Band participated
in about seven days of filming, serving as extras in several scenes including
those from the pep rally and basketball games. We hope to hear our very own fight
song, "Hail to the Buccaneers" during the movie. Haley Joel Osment
and Ryan Merriman were kind to pose in a picture with band members.
We have a huge autographed copy of that photo hanging prominently in the front
of our band room. We all look forward to the release of Home of the Giants
with great anticipation! Ed

fans never fail to delight and surprise us with anecdotes from the set of Home

Murray and her daughter had something really interesting to say about the
Home of the Giants shoot at the Winston
Salem Coliseum, in this email sent in on the 18th of March 2007 ... | My
daughter and I were extras in the Winston Salem coliseum. It was so much
fun cheering when they said to cheer and being disappointed when they said be
disappointed. The dummies really surprised me. Lots and lots of dummies,
and I'm not talking about the actors or the production crew. We were around
for one of the later scenes where the bad guy came, he was taken away and
everyone rushed the court. Thanks for the opportunity. Let me know
if you need extras in the area for another movie. |

is nearing completion, we are now able to
confirm some of the production
credits for the film , and are working on confirming the rest . The
next few months are going to be really exciting !

have some good news for you all ! Home of the
Giants is in the final
stages of post production work this week, mainly sound mixing , and it is probably
safe to say that all post production work should be wrapped up well
before the end of March 2007 , so happily, there is light at the end of the tunnel
. There are also some other exciting developments as well which I am not at liberty
to tell you about at this present time, suffice to say that it bodes well for

is in response to the many queries we have received following the "update"
at IMDB on the status of Home of the Giants . According to the 6th November
update at IMDB , the film is "completed" . Please note, however, that
this is not true at this current time . All filming for the movie
is completed, but post production work is ongoing. Since the last filming was
in August 2006, post production is expected to take between 4 and 6 months, before
the final version of the film is ready . When post production on the film is finally
completed, we will release the news officially here . |

to relate regarding her experiences during filming, including surrounding Haley

a half minute unofficial trailer for Home of the Giants complete with sound

to find a distributor for the film, both domestically in USA as well as internationally
, and the Conquistador website has started streaming this temporary trailer for
Home of the Giants even as it begins marketing the film . Enjoy this version

Fansite, scored a coup today by being the first to discover a trailer
for Home of the Giants online at the Conquistador
Worldwide Media website .Conquistador Worldwide Media was founded in March
1993 as a foreign sales and distribution company for film and television product,
but is now heavily involved in financing and production as well. Could this be
an indication that they may possibly distribute Home of the Giants either
domestically in USA or in foreign markets ? Although a trailer
for Home of the Giants is now screening on their website, it is UNLIKELY
that this is the official trailer for the film. The trailer is unusually long
, and seems extremely similar to the one screened unofficially in conjunction
with SymPics International's film , " National Lampoon's Pucked" in Greensboro
when it premiered in February 2006. Of note is the absence of the trailer on SymPic's
official Home of the Giants website, and also on this Tribute site , because
as far as we know, no official trailer has been released at this current time.
Still , it is interesting to see this provisional trailer, albeit without any
sound. Catch it while you still can, because it may not be online for long, being

from Chris Arnett, who was Haley's stand-in for a couple of days of filming.

name is Christopher Arnett. I worked on the set of this movie for about 5 days.
I was asked to be Haley's stand-in for two of those days where I met him and was
quite pleased to see how cool a guy he actually was. I was also a featured extra
in the basketball scene where the Giants win the basketball game. It was a lot
of fun working with all of you and I have to say that it was a great experience
because I haven't done anything really like that before. I have quite a few experiences
with the movie including one when we were playing as the dummies and scaring other
extras when they were looking into the audience. Thank you for this experience

have received many emails concerning the latest development in the aftermath of
Haley's recent car accident. Just to clear the air, yes, we are aware of what
is in the news , and on a personal note, as webmaster of this Tribute site, I
have issued my
personal statement on the matter, which you can read at our forum.
Over at this site however, we are choosing to move on, and to focus on what is
important, which is the upcoming completion and hopefully earlier release of Home
of the Giants . Both Haley Joel Osment and Ryan Merriman have worked extremely
hard on this film, under the sure helm of director Rusty Gorman , and we certainly
don't want to lose sight of that ! I personally believe that Home of the Giants
is going to be one terrific film, and can hardly wait to see it theatrically !
Do check back with us , because we are going to be releasing some really beautiful
images from the film over the next two weeks . Coming right up, on Sunday ....
a wonderful picture of Ryan Merriman , and following that, another great picture
of Haley and Ryan together in the movie . Keep your chins up, everyone, I think

have some good news ! Over the next 2 weeks , we will be releasing a new Production
Still from Home of the Giants every 2 days . These images have never before
been seen on the internet, and are being released to thank you for your support
and patience as we await the release of Home of the Giants . Enjoy them,

REALLY IS A WRAP ! |  | OK
... OK... so we have teased you now for several months, but this time it really
has happened. Finally, after numerous delays due to cast and production schedules,
"Home of the Giants" has finally wrapped up filming. With only four days of scenes
to finish, it was beginning to look like HOTG might never get completed. It had
to be done, the scenes left to shoot were pivotal to the story. Ryan is glad to
finally have this one "in the can" as they say. Now editing can be done and distribution
of the film can begin. Rest assured that all you Ryan and Haley fans out there
will not be disappointed and it will be well worth the wait. Stay tuned for more
news as it happens on this one. |

are trickling in . An anonymous fan sent in these two images of Haley Joel Osment
taken just last week. The quality of the photos is not the best , but it is wonderful
to see Haley up and about, filming, and looking great ! I am unable to credit

of The Giants is filming additional footage this weekend , starting Saturday
5th August 2006 and continuing for several days into early next week, in the Los
Angeles, CA area. These
pickup shots will fill in key scenes that need to be included in the movie.
Exact locations
have not been released to the public at this time (that we can find), but many
of the cast and crew are in town and preparing to shoot additional footage for
the movie. That includes Haley, Ryan, and some of the other key

Joel Osment has put in enough face time with the doctors. The 18-year-old actor
was released from Pasadena's Huntington Memorial Hospital Friday after being treated
for a broken rib and arm lacerations he suffered in a Thursday morning car crash.
"Haley has been released from the hospital and is resting comfortably at home,"
his agent, Meredith Fine, said in a statement. The
L.A. County Sheriff's Department said yesterday that there was no reason to suspect
that illegal substances had anything to do with Osment's accident, but no cause
was suggested as to why or how he lost control of the car. The Sixth Sense star
was wearing a seatbelt, Fine said, contrary to early reports stating he wasn't

department, the actor was wearing a seatbelt when his car crashed, but had removed
it prior to the deputies' arrival. "He
removed the belt to climb into the back seat where he was better able to exit

bag that opened on impact." Osment

ACCIDENT UPDATE : We just received
this piece of good news ... | KTLA
morning news just had a report on Haley and his accident , and it looks like he
is "okay". Nothing
confirmed or anything, but in the report they said he had just dropped some friends
off and was alone and on his way home. At some point he lost control of the 1995
Saturn he was driving, and it plowed into a brick pillar. They showed the scene
of the crash, and it wasn't on a "main" road or anything, it looked
like a residential side street with lots of trees and everything, so it would
have been quite dark on that road at night from what I could see, but they said
the car had sheered off the top of the brick pillar and the car flipped over onto
the roof. They said he was wearing his seat belt, and was actually trapped in
the car until the emergency people arrived, and they cut him out of his seatbelt.
The car and the crash scene have already been cleaned up. He
was taken to hospital and did have some cuts and scrapes from the crash, but he
was talking and all that according to the report. Currently the hospital is denying
he is even there, but there could already be confidentiality agreements in place. |

July 2006 : IndyStar.com released a report
on how weak
tax perks could send Indiana-centric films out of state , and mentioned Home of
the Giants as one of those films that Indiana lost to North Carolina . However,
director Rusty Gorman , who is from Marion , Indiana , did film some exterior
scenes in Marion itself , according to the report.
Following that news, Amy Wisser, who was from Marion High School in 2001, sent

If you want stories…I’ve got stories! (haha!) I just really wanted
to say that I am extremely excited for the release of this film. I am proud to
say I am a former Giant from the city of Marion, Indiana. The years I spent there
growing up, playing ball and becoming the person I am today (yes, I’m still
in the sports world!), are truly unforgettable. It is too bad more filming could
not be done in Marion, but understandably, money talks. I hope this film portrays
Marion and the community well as a city which lives and loves the game of basketball!
And to have Haley Joel Osment featured…I am sure he will be fantastic!

today in theatres in Greensboro , shown in conjunction with screenings of SymPics

(and possibly some small basketball team entrance scenes) on Wednesday February
22, 2006 at the Lawrence Joel Veteran's Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC.
The filming will be done during halftime of the Wake Forest basketball game, and
then more filming after the game. More information as plans are finalized. Note:
Haley will not be there (sorry), but it is a chance for people who want to be

Ryan and
company finished the first round of production on "Home of the Giants" in North
Carolina on October 9th. The final week of production has now been pushed to sometime
in March, when the cast and crew will meet up in Chicago to wrap things up. There
will be a special day of production on February 22nd in North Carolina. "HOTG"
has been given permission to shoot footage during an official playoff game at
half time and after the game. This gives them the advantage of filming with a
stadium packed with genuine screaming basketball fans. Should be a rush! Early
comments from editors who have worked on the film have been wonderful. Director,
Rusty Gorman, has received a great deal of support for his project and everyone
involved is glad to know that they will be able to wrap up production and bring
this film to completion and to a theatre near you soon. We will keep you up on

archived a very interesting report dating back to 20th September 2005 which was
published in the Carolinian Online, the Independent Student Newspaper of UNC Greensboro,
where Home of the Giants was filmed. It lists quite a few of the filming locations

Star Cheerleaders make the news today in The Northwest
Observer. The article is interesting in that a possible release date of
December 2006 for the film is mentioned , although as far as we know , no date
is firmed up yet. We are verifying this information for you . It's an interesting
article, but too bad they spelled Haley's name incorrectly ! 29th
November 2005 : If you are anywhere near
Walt Disney World in Florida over the next few days, be sure to try to catch Haley's
appearance there at the Candlelight Processional, presented as part of the Holidays
Around The World celebration from November 25 through December 30, 2005. The Candlelight
Processional treats guests to a musical performance by a choir and 50-piece orchestra
that are joined by celebrity narrators retelling the Christmas story. The show
is staged each evening at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. at America Gardens Theatre. Haley

October 2005 : Principal photography on the movie Home of The
Giants completes this week in North Carolina. There may be some secondary photography
in the weeks to come, but we will have to wait and see what is needed. There is
no date as of yet for post production work to begin, but it can be safely said
there is no chance of the film being ready for release in 2005 . As post production
takes so very long, it is doubtful the release could be before May 2006 at best,
and that may be a stretch. But, a 2006 release is definitely the plan. Our contact
has this to say about the film , "The scenes I have seen (or have attended)
